This isn’t really a secret but I had to make it first as it’s SO important!🙌🏼As you guys know, my favourite is the 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘺 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺, it’s great quality and value for money💸 A good heat protection spray is super important when applying any kind of heat to your hair as although you may not notice a massive difference by skipping it once, over time your hair extensions will lose their silky feel and quality MUCH faster, and once the quality of your extensions has been destroyed, it’s gone for good!😰
‼️𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐖𝐎: 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 . . . 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲!✨ This is such a great tip. Shine spray is a handy lil’ tool for that extra-professional look😍 My favourite is the 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘺 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴 𝘋𝘳𝘺 𝘖𝘪𝘭 𝘚𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺. For most people, sectioning your hair in half will be enough, however if you have thicker hair it may be a good idea for you to section your hair into thirds, from top to bottom. This will give you a much more defined and long-lasting curl as the heat is more evenly distributed throughout your hair✅ Depending on the kind of style you’re going for (defined and tight or big and bouncy) you will then take around an inch to two inches in sections and curl each of these around your chosen tool. Takes a bit of practice but becomes easy after you’ve done it a few times!👌🏼 You also need to make sure you’ve brushed through your hair throughly and removed any knots, as this can result in wonky curls, and removing knots afterwards can disrupt the curls too!❌
‼️ 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄: 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐞, 𝐏𝐢𝐧, 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲 . . . Once you’ve curled your first section of hair around your heat tool, hold the curl in your hand without letting it fall, as this prevents the curl from dropping and losing its structure as the weight of your hair can pull it down. Be careful though‼️ The curl can still be very hot depending on the heat setting you used - and so this is where a glove may come in handy👌🏼 You should then clip the curl (still rolled up) to your head, spray a small amount of hairspray from a few inches away, and leave this for as long as possible⏰ This ensures the curl has time to set and will retain its shape for much longer.
‼️ 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑: 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 . . . Once you’ve left your curls pinned to your head for as long as possible, it’s time to release them, but make sure you do this slowly so as to avoid disrupting the curl! After this, it’s time to gently brush through to give that smooth and professional look, and boom! You’re all done🔥
